  Student Welfare Coordinator

My name is Glenda Nielsen and on behalf of the welfare team I would like to extend a warm welcome to all new students, parents and guardians. Part of my role is to ensure that the well being of our students is maintained. At times students may need or wish to speak to an adult about an issue. They may be having difficulty with their peers, there may be an issue of bullying at school or they find they are just having a bad day and wish to talk it over.

I also help facilitate welfare programs within the school such as Creating Conversations, Kids in the Kitchen, Year 7 Health Day, Tribes as well as make appropriate referrals to Daniel Torpy our school psychologist or other external agencies which may be appropriate to help solve a problem. I also deal with lost property and can assist with uniform if required. If your student is unhappy about something that is happening at school, or at home, please feel free to contact me or leave a message and we can help resolve the problem together.
